Essar Chief Marvels At NCI

It was a great pleasure for us to host Shri Prashant Ruia, Director & Group Chief Executive of Essar Global Limited, on Saturday. Mr. Ruia leads the Essar Group, which carries a distinguished 50-year legacy of developing world-class assets across the energy, infrastructure, metals and mining, and technology sectors. He was accompanied by Shri Amit Bajaj, MD, Global Head of Corporate Affairs & Public Policy, Essar Group.

Shri Ruia’s deep interest in technology was clearly evident during his visit, as he reviewed NCI’s state-of-the-art diagnostic and treatment infrastructure. He also showed keen curiosity about the journey of building such a comprehensive cancer care facility.

Appreciating the vision, mission, and execution of the project by the NCI management, he remarked, “It’s beautiful. Creating something of this kind from scratch brings a different kind of satisfaction.”

On this occasion, Shri Shailesh Joglekar, General Secretary and CEO of NCI, briefed Shri Ruia about the upcoming projects of Dr. Aabaji Thatte Seva Aur Anusandhan Sanstha (Trust), the parent organization of NCI. Shri Anand Aurangabadkar, Treasurer, NCI, also shared his thoughts during the interaction.
