NCI And Tata Trusts Ink an MoU

The National Cancer Institute (NCI), Nagpur, and Tata Trusts have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to support the treatment of 100 financially underprivileged patients at NCI under Tata Trusts’ Individual Grants Programme.

This noble gesture came as part of the long-standing partnership between Tata Trusts and Maharashtra Government, under the leadership of the Hon’ble Chief Minister, Shri Devendra Fadnavis. On this occasion, Tata Trusts signed similar MoUs with several other hospitals and social organisations in Maharashtra.

The MoU was signed on Thursday in Mumbai in the presence of the Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Devendra Fadnavis, Chairman of Tata Trusts, Shri Noel Tata, Chief Executive Officer of Tata Trusts, Shri Siddharth Sharma, and General Secretary and CEO of NCI, Shri Shailesh Joglekar. 

Minister of Rural Development Jaikumar Gore, Minister for Soil and Water Conservation, Sanjay Rathod, Minister for Women and Child Development, Aditi Tatkare, Minister of State for Public Health, Meghna Sakore-Bordikar, Chief Secretary, Rajesh Aggarwal, Additional Chief Secretary (CMO), Ashwini Bhide, Principal Secretary (CMO), Dr Shrikar Pardeshi, Secreatry (Public Health), Dr Nipun Vinayak, Secretary (Women and Child Development), Anupkumar Yadav, noted actors and social workers, Nana Patekar and Makrand Anaspure were also present.
