National Cancer Institute Nagpur had recently organized 2 days Annual conference of Western Chapter of Association of Medical Physicists of India on “Small Field Dosimetry: Challenges and Solutions in current scenario”, Western Chapter of Association of Medical Physicists of India with matching the aims & objectives of both organizations, joined the NCI and initiated this event. An educative and informative sessions on small field dosimetry were conducted.
The program was inaugurated at the hands of Chief Guest Faculty Dr Govind Rajan K N, Ex Head of the Medical Physics and Safety Section at Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC), Mumbai and currently working as Prof. of Medical Physics, Dept. of Medical Physics, PSG Hospitals, Coimbatore. He also delivered a special talk on “A Brief Overview of Static Small Field Dosimetry”
