Medical Oncology department has four full time consultants headed by Medical Director Dr. Anand Pathak

Broad Scope of activities of Medical Oncology department include

• Initial work up and diagnosis of new cancer patients.
• Evaluation of patients on follow up who have completed their treatments.
• Systemic therapy of cancer patients in the form of chemotherapy and biological agents.
• Care of complications of cancer and it’s treatment.
• Palliative care of patients with advanced incurable cancer and end of life treatment.
• Conducting cancer clinical trials
• Imparting cancer education.
• Conducting cancer screening camps
