Before the journey begins

Once you know how to reach NCI, you must prepare a bit before we, you and us together, start the journey to defeat cancer.

  • Organise all your existing medical records, prescriptions & bring them along, our experts will need them to assess your condition and medication history.
  • Carry a copy of letter from referring physician in case you have been referred to us from elsewhere.
  • Bring an ID proof & address proof (Aadhar card/Ration card/Voter ID/Pan Card/Electricity bill/Passport etc.) for documentation purpose. It will also come handy if you are entitled for any of the govt subsidy schemes that are available with us at NCI. More details under Financial planning section.
  • Check health insurance (mediclaim) coverage. It can spare you the hassle of arranging the finances at eleventh hour. Enquire at the time of appointment to make sure if your mediclaim is accepted at NCI.
  • Plan your stay at NCI. You can benefit our accommodation facility for the patient plus one caretaker. More information can be found at Stay at NCI
