Taking a valuable break from his busy schedule, the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Dr Mohan Yadav, paid an insightful visit to the National Cancer Institute (NCI), Nagpur, on Monday. He was accompanied by his sons, Mr Vaibhav Yadav and Dr Abhimanyu Yadav, a medical practitioner, as well as his daughters-in-law, Mrs Shalini Yadav and Dr Ishita Yadav, who is also a medical practitioner.
During the visit, Dr Yadav toured various clinical departments of the institute and interacted with doctors and staff members, appreciating their dedication and commitment to patient care. He also met several patients from his home state of Madhya Pradesh who are undergoing treatment at NCI. The Chief Minister spoke with the patients and their family members, enquired about their well-being, and assured them of all possible support from the Madhya Pradesh government.
Dr Yadav and his family were welcomed by NCI’s General Secretary and CEO, Shri Shailesh Joglekar, and Medical Director, Dr Anand Pathak, who also briefed the Chief Minister on the development of the world-class facility and the comprehensive cancer care services being provided to patients from across the country.
