Union Education Minister Shri Dharmendra Pradhan said the National Cancer Institute (NCI), Nagpur, has the potential to evolve into a national model for cancer care. During his visit, he praised NCI’s world-class infrastructure, patient-centric approach, affordable quality treatment, and free cancer care for children. Recalling the institute’s journey, he highlighted the dedication and commitment behind its growth and appreciated the leadership of Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis, the chief patron of NCI, and the institute’s leadership, including General Secretary and CEO Shailesh Joglekar, President Adv. Sunil Manohar, Treasurer Anand Aurangabadkar, and Medical Director Dr. Anand Pathak, for their role in building a world-class cancer care institution.
