Dr. Archana Sharma, a world-known particle physicist and Principal Scientist at CERN, the European Organization for Nuclear Research, Geneva, visited the National Cancer Institute (NCI), Nagpur. “It’s a world class facility. We have really arrived in terms of patient care,” observed Dr Sharma, who is guiding the NCI to set up a very advanced and more precise ‘Particle Therapy’ to treat cancer.
