The National Cancer Institute places emphasis on personalized treatment plans as per its 5P approach to cancer care. We will apply best practices in oncology, high end technologies and compatible infrastructure to provide the highest level of care.
Once you know how to reach NCI, you must prepare a bit before we, you and us together, start the journey to defeat cancer.
As you enter the lobby, a Karksevak (your Case-Worker) will attend to you to help you through the registration process and the care touch points. The registration will generate your Unique Patient ID, which will give you access to all sections of the hospital that are relevant to your care and to your personalised NCI account on our website.
You will be then directed to a general physician, who will perform a clinical examination and discuss your history with you. The physician will redirect you to the relevant oncologist for consultation.
The oncologist will examine you and may refer you for investigations or consultation. Any queries you may have at that point can be asked at this stage. Your case will further be presented to a tumor board.
